Matt Ringer served as Technical Director for the 92nd Annual Oscars Governors Ball.
Harmony and relaxation inspired the design for the 92nd Oscars Governors Ball. The color palette was a soothing mix of copper and bronze metallics with accents of eggplant and amethyst. The ballroom was lit by 2,000 tubes of light in a spectacular floating chandelier made from recycled materials in varying finishes and textures.

The 71st Emmy Awards Governors Ball
Matt Ringer served as the Technical Director for the Governors Ball events with indoor/outdoor event spaces, buffet dining, and live performances for the Creative Arts Emmys and the Primetime Emmys Governors Ball. 2019's theme was "Brilliance in Motion" immersing television industry luminaries and distinguished Academy guests in a multi-layered experience inspired by the beauty of dancing waters and sparkling fountains.

Flow is an annual business conference that brings together industry leaders to discuss tech, frontline, and culture. 2019 speakers included Mindy Grossman, President and CEO of WW, and Margot Lee Shetterly, award winning novelist of Hidden Figures.

The 91st Oscars Governors Ball presented “Filmscapes” a compilation of images from world cinema, orchestrated with live soundtracks and instrumental movie songs to accompany live projected films. The ballroom décor palette of rich merlot with Oscar gold emulated movie theater design, to accentuate an immersive, movie-going experience.

The 70th Emmy Awards Governors Ball
Matt Ringer served as the Technical Director for the Governors Ball events with new indoor/outdoor event spaces, buffet dining, and live performances for the Creative Arts Emmys and the Primetime Emmys Governors Ball. It included a custom-designed ceiling installation with 4,800 fully-controlled, mapped LED light balls.

Matt Ringer served as the Technical Director for the Art Directors Guild's 23rd Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards. The 2019 theme was “Landscape of the Imagination,” which recognized individuals with talented and diverse backgrounds who had a tremendous impact in to the craft of production design both past and present.

Matt Ringer served as the Technical Production Manager including managing Union Labor for the Disney DCPI Booth at the three-day D23 2017 event at the Anaheim Convention Center. The booth housed the Oh My Disney stage, cooking demo area, product displays, artist workstations, and cappuccino art baristas.
